On Monday we watched the a video of Hussein Chalayan's 2011 Spring line http://www.vogue.com/videos/hussein-chalayan-spring-2011/ which premiered on Vogue.com and was part of your reading packet. We also read the article for homework. Hussein Chalayan presented his collection in a way very original format. However, as per the article, designers have options on how they want their line represented.

Question: 1. Based on what you read and watch about Hussein Chalayan and Alexander McQueen, how did each designer use the performance aspect of their shows to highlight the garments and how does this type of presentation compare/differ from the pictorials we see in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and other top Fashion publications. 2. In addition, the other articles in the packet were also very visual. Describe some of the components from the articles which defined inspiration, space and feel of each.
